La'telve is the vision of Sadet Gul, a food engineer with over 20 years of hospitality experience across Turkey, Kazakhstan and Scotland. Every dish reflects her passion for quality ingredients, traditional techniques and warm hospitality.
The name tells our story: "La'" comes from Italian - meaning "to go there" - and "Telve" from Turkish, the coffee grounds used in fortune-telling. We believe in the magic of good food, good company and good coffee.
We source the finest ingredients - homemade scones in rotating seasonal flavours, traditional Turkish breakfasts, Mediterranean spreads, fresh pastries and more. Every morning begins with fresh baking, every meal is made to order.
From Turkish spreads with olives, cheeses and warm bread, to full Scottish cooked breakfasts and Mediterranean platters with fresh herbs. We also serve pancakes, French toast and our signature selection of homemade scones.
Our scones are a customer favourite, rotating through seasonal flavours - pesto, wild cherry, dark chocolate-orange, and apple-cinnamon. Alongside a pastry counter featuring pistachio cannoli, macarons, baklava, simit and homemade cheesecakes.
Throughout the day we serve artisan paninis, fresh wraps, seasonal salads, and homemade soups. Our coffee programme features quality single-origin beans, expertly prepared. The perfect accompaniment to a quiet morning or afternoon break.
